Update - 15th July 2014

If you have tried to access your online account and have received any error messages, please follow the steps below as these might help.

Delete offline contents - normally found via Tools / Internet Options / General / click on delete files and put a tick in the box 'delete all offline contents' then click ok.

Close down your internet browser then reopen.

Type into the web address www.IF.com - do not use drop down lists or favourites to populate the address.

Click enter and try to access your account again.

IF THE ABOVE DON'T RESOLVE THE ISSUE

Go back into Tools / Internet Options.

Click Advanced – Scroll to bottom – On screen you will see Padlock and Security heading with a list of approx 12 settings.

Please put a tick in 'Don’t save encrypted pages to disk' and

SSL 2.0

SSL 3.0

TLS 1.0

then click apply.

Still in Tools / Internet Options - Click on the Security tab – Click Trusted Sites button.

Beneath the icon box you should see a box with word Sites – Click Sites.

Cursor in box where site can be added. Add https://www.if.com - Click add – Click ok

Still in Security Click on the Internet icon – Click on Custom Level – Scroll to bottom.

Put tick in Logon with current user name and password

The 5 or 6 between Logon and SOFTWARE CHANNEL PERMISSIONS (depends what system you have on how many boxes will be there) above Logon should all be ENABLED and finally Software Channel should be at Medium.

If after following these steps you are still unable to access your online account, please call us on 0345 609 4343 (Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm / Saturday 8am to 6pm and Sunday 9am to 6pm)
